Early in my career I saw opportunities to play the long game in competitive categories to win customers and build sustainable, repeatable success. When I became CEO of Brooks Running Company in April 2001, I put this Benjamin Disraeli quote on my whiteboard: “The secret to success is constancy of purpose”. For me it was a truth to remind me every day that success is an outcome of focus and intention. ​

I believe that now more than ever, there is white space for authentic, trustable leaders.
The challenges facing leaders at every level have never been greater. From fast moving consumers with more choice than ever, intense competition, economic uncertainty and disruption, leaders are accountable to effectively lead their functions and enterprises for short- and long-term success.
